Request for Immediate Police Assistance – Ongoing Intimidation and Coercive Control of Multiple Residents [Residential ADDRESS]

Dear Officer in Charge,

We, the undersigned residents of [Residential ADDRESS], are seeking urgent assistance in relation to the ongoing behaviour of fellow tenants who:

  • stalk, harasses, and intimidate residents;

  • engage in coercive, prison-style controlling behaviours;

  • create fear and distress for vulnerable residents.

These behaviours are causing severe trauma responses and ongoing fear among multiple tenants. We believe this conduct may constitute:

  • stalking and intimidation offences under the Criminal Code (Qld); and

  • domestic and family violence (coercive control) under the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012 (Qld).

Despite repeated complaints to the Chermside Housing Service Centre, no effective action has been taken

Our Request

We respectfully request that QPS:

  1. Investigate this conduct as possible criminal offences.

  2. Consider issuing a Police Protection Notice or applying for a Domestic Violence Order on behalf of residents.

  3. Take urgent action to ensure the immediate safety of vulnerable tenants.

We are prepared to provide prior complaint references, and personal statements describing events.

Thank you for your urgent attention to this matter.

Yours faithfully,
